New storefront, bare glass — CO week is the window for first graphics and hours signs
Week-one Fort Worth COs: a storefront graphics installer's route
Published
Rosa installs vinyl window graphics and hours signs for new Fort Worth storefronts. She needs to show up the week the certificate of occupancy posts — while the glass is still bare and before the owner picks another shop.
Cold dumps failed. Fort Worth new Certificates of Occupancy (trailing 7 days) are the trigger.
What changed
She bought FtwLead for $19. After Stripe, the CSVs were emailed directly from Armorlight: 7-day and 30-day CO files with occupant, address, job use, application type, CO date and permit id (no phone field in the city source).
That week
- Mon: filtered the 7-day file (28 new COs) to Sales and Service / Office openings: Olive & Stitch on W Bowie, Mercado Latino Pacheco on W Airport Fwy, Honey Talk on Overton Ridge, Mellyn Gaming on Camp Bowie West, and Sandersfit Rehab on John McCain.
- Tue: no phones in the source, so she routed by west-side corridors and left door hangers with a first-week window-graphic + hours-sign package.
- Thu: flagged Assembly / commercial building CO rows near Bellamy Blvd for larger facade wraps on follow-up.
Illustrative scenario: Rosa is a composite operator, not a named customer. The CO counts and occupant names come from a real FtwLead 7-day sample.
